By A report confirms that Jerry Lee Lewis is still alive.
Rock and roll icon Jerry Lee Lewis is now 87 years old, and well in Memphis.
A representative for Lewis issued a statement today saying that Jerry Lee Lewis is currently 87 years old and is living well in Memphis.
The representative denied a report by TMZ. And he was told in a TMZ report that he has passed away, for which TMZ has also issued an apology report.

Lewis suffered a stroke back in 2019, but was apparently feeling optimistic enough about his recovery a year later that he announced a forthcoming album of gospel music.
The disco was honored with the Country Music Hall of Fame award in early 2022. However, he refused to attend that event on the advice of his doctor.
“His longtime dear friend Kris Kristofferson accepted in his honor from Hank Williams Jr. and Kris and his wife Lisa were nice enough to drive down to Memphis and present it to Jerry Lee in person.” Lewis looked weak after dealing with the flu on his official Facebook page.
Lewis helped more-or-less create the sound of mainstream rock music in the 1950s, charting such pioneering hits as “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On” and “Great Balls Of Fire.”
