Twitter will be Permanently Suspended “parody” Account – Elon Musk

Elon Musk is facing new challenges just as his counterpart at Facebook reportedly plans job cuts. This morning Two of the longest running social media platforms appear to be in a fight for survival. 50% is a jaw dropping number and really goes to the heart of the Twitter ecosystem.

Elon Musk has also announced Twitter will permanently suspend any account that impersonates another meanwhile, massive layoffs could soon be coming to Facebook.


Last week, Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk let go about half the company’s 7500 employees, but now the company is reportedly trying to bring back some of those workers Bloomberg reports dozens of employees were fired by mistake while others were let go before management realised their experience was needed.

Musk said the layoffs were needed because Twitter was losing more than $4 million per day. And now Twitter is reportedly delaying a plan to charge $8 per month for a verified checkmark until after the midterm elections combined with what we’ve seen this week with the 50% headcount costs some of the pushback, but the verification plan.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Facebook’s parent company Meta is preparing to notify employees of large scale layoffs this week, possibly affecting 1000s of employees. Meta shares have plummeted 73% This year, as Mark Zuckerberg spends billions on virtual reality. It’s not just Facebook and Twitter that are struggling. Microsoft and Snapchat also recently announced layoffs and Amazon announced the corporate hiring freeze overseas.
