Karim Benzema Says He’ll Bring More Magic and says that fans will Help Real Madrid beat Man City

Karim Benzema said Real Madrid would overcome Manchester City in May’s Champions League final in Paris.

Real, The club were defeated 4-3 in Manchester at the end of their Tuesday evening but will be home in the second part of the semi-finals next week.

Madrid’s Bernabeu Stadium is home to a capacity of 81.044, and Benzema promises supporters who turn up that they will experience “something amazing”.

Benzema is quoted in BBC Sport as saying: “A defeat is never wrong because we’re enthusiastic about this Champions League.

“The foremost thing to remember is that we do not give up on our dreams. We are always here until the final.

“Now we must travel into the Bernabeu, and we’ll need our fans more than ever before. We are also going to create something extraordinary and winning.”

Benzema scored two of Real’s goals at the Etihad Stadium, and Vinicius Junior was also on the scoresheet.

Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva scored for City, leading 2-0, 3-1 and 4-2.

However, Real did not seem to be in a panic. For one thing, they’re no strangers to a European return this season.

After beating PSG with a 3-2 aggregate win from 2 down to reach the final 16th match. Real got the better of Chelsea despite being just 10 minutes away from being eliminated at the end of the quarter-finals.

Whether Real will win its fourteenth European Cup, Benzema is likely to finish the season with the Champion League’s Golden Boot.

The striker scored the 13th and fourteenth UCL goal of the year in Manchester.

The second goal of Benzema’s was scored from the penalty area; however, it was undoubtedly one of the more impressive goals of the evening.

He defeated Ederson with a playful Panenka spot-kick, a bold choice for a player who failed to convert three penalties in April.

“I always hold that if you do not take penalties, you’ll never be penalized,” he said on his decision to play once more.

“That’s mental confidence and that’s all. I have a lot of confidence in myself… so I do it and it turns out well.”
